Starting with sketches and photographs (often historic), an overall view is conceptualized. Using various weights of Strathmore cotton paper, each detail is exactingly cut, formed or sculpted and then constructed to form the facade of the home or building in deep relief.

Each portrait consists of literally thousands of pieces and can typically take up to 200 hours to complete. From delicate dentil moulding and swirling wrought iron entwined with blooming vines, to lush azalea gardens....

....it's all in the details!
