Originally from Kansas City, I studied commercial art and illustration at Kansas State University and the Kansas City Art Institute. While Living in the Midwest, I had the privilege and pleasure of creating portraits of dozens of homes across the U.S. and Europe including Harry S. Truman's Victorian mansion in Independence, the Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria and a bistro in Provence. After years of vacationing here, my fascination with historic architecture finally lured me to relocate to Charleston.
